This model kit recreates the iconic Renault 5 Turbo Rally which was originally released in 1982 as a motorized model kit then later re-issued in 2011 with updated decals and instruction manual.The Renault 5 Turbo was a special version of the inimitable 5, developed for rally races. With a 1.4-liter inline-4 turbo engine in place of the rear seats the Turbo had a midship setup and used lightweight aluminum and plastic panels.
